Zaptec Pro Installation Guide
8 fault codes documented
Cannot create installation – Insufficient authorization in Zaptec Portal
You are unable to create new installations within the Zaptec Portal. This indicates that your user account currently lacks the necessary authorization to perform this action.
Charging does not start – Vehicle or access issue
The vehicle is connected to the charging station, and the station might show a green or blue light (indicating communication), but charging does not initiate, or the status indicator is steadily red, indicating a fault.
No Light – Charging station not active or no power
The charging station's status indicator is off, meaning it has not been activated in the Zaptec Portal, is not receiving power from the circuit, has an incorrect connection, or a product fault.
Portal login failed – Unable to access Zaptec Portal
You are experiencing issues logging in to the Zaptec Portal, which could be due to an incorrect password or account credentials.
Purple LED solid – Firmware updating
The charging station's status indicator illuminates a solid purple, indicating that its firmware is currently being updated. This is a normal process and may take a few minutes.
Red LED flashing – Authentication failed
The charging station's status indicator is flashing red, which means the authentication attempt for charging has failed. This could be due to issues with the RFID tag or user access permissions.
Red LED solid – Charging fault or cable/vehicle issue
The charging station's status indicator is a steady red light, which suggests a charging fault related to the charging cable or the vehicle, or potentially an internal fuse issue within the station.
Charging station not online – No internet connection
The charging station is unable to establish an internet connection, preventing it from communicating with the Zaptec Portal or app. This can be caused by various network issues depending on whether it uses 4G, PLC, or WiFi.
