The Wall Connector has detected voltage levels outside the normal operating range or poor quality power from the grid. Charging is disabled for safety.
Seven red blinks — Vehicle overcurrent detected
The vehicle is drawing more current than the Wall Connector is set to provide, or the vehicle's charging system is reporting an overcurrent issue. Charging is disabled.
Solid blue LED — Waiting to charge, communicating with vehicle
A solid blue LED means the Wall Connector is communicating with the vehicle and is ready to start charging, or is waiting after an interruption.
Streaming green LEDs — Charging in progress
All green LEDs are streaming, which means the vehicle is currently charging.
Five red blinks — Group power management communication issue, charging reduced
Five red blinks indicate a communication problem within a group power management setup. Charging may be reduced as a result.
Flashing red LED — Fault detected, requires reset
A fault condition has caused the red LED to flash. The system needs to be reset to clear the fault if the condition is corrected.
Four red blinks — Internet connection lost, online features disabled
Four red blinks mean the Wall Connector has lost its internet connection. Online features, including app control and software updates, are disabled.
Green lights turn ON for 5 seconds — Proper installation of load sharing network
During the initial power-up after installation, a sequence of green lights indicates that the load sharing network has been installed correctly.
Pulsing green LED — Ready to commission or SSID broadcasting
A pulsing green LED indicates that the Wall Connector is broadcasting its network (SSID) and is ready to be commissioned or set up.
Green streaming lights — Wall Connector is charging the vehicle
The Wall Connector is actively charging the vehicle. This is a normal operating status.
No Lights — Power supply issue, charging disabled
The Wall Connector has no lights on, indicating a problem with the power supply. Charging is not possible until this is resolved.
On (bottom) green, Off, Off — Slave unit in load sharing network
In a load sharing network, this indicates the Wall Connector is configured and operating as a slave unit.
On (top and bottom) green, Off, Off — Master unit in load sharing network
In a load sharing network, this indicates the Wall Connector is configured and operating as the master unit.
One red blink — Earth fault detected, charging disabled
A single red blink indicates an earth fault circuit interruption. This means there's an unsafe current path, and charging is disabled.
Red LED 1 flash — Pilot fault
The pilot level is incorrect, which is preventing the vehicle from charging. This signal is part of the communication between the charger and the vehicle.
Red LED 2 flashes — Incompatible input distribution
This indicates that a non-Tesla vehicle is attempting to connect to an incompatible input distribution. Compatible distributions are single-phase or 400V three-phase.
Red LED 3 flashes — Incorrect rotary switch setting
The rotary switch inside the Wall Connector has been set incorrectly. This switch is used for configuration settings.
Red LED 4 flashes — Circuit Breaker Sharing Network issue
This error means that more than one Wall Connector has been set to 'Master' in the network. Only one unit can be the master.
Red LED 5 flashes — Circuit Breaker Sharing Network issue
This means there are too many Wall Connectors set as 'Slave' in the network. The limit is three slaves per master.
Red LED 6 flashes — Circuit Breaker Sharing Network issue
This indicates a problem with the Circuit Breaker Sharing Network. It may mean that the networked Wall Connectors have different maximum current capabilities.
Red LED solid — Automatic recovery failed
This status appears after the Wall Connector has tried to automatically recover from a residual current fault four times without success. Power is removed, and no further charging attempts are made.
Six red blinks — Overvoltage or poor grid quality detected, charging disabled
Six red blinks signal that the Wall Connector has detected overvoltage or poor quality from the electrical grid. Charging is disabled for safety.
Solid blue LED — Waiting to resume charging after power outage
A solid blue light indicates the Wall Connector is powered on, communicating with the vehicle, and waiting to automatically resume charging after a power interruption.
Solid blue light — Waiting to resume charging after power outage
After a power outage, the Wall Connector shows a solid blue light. This means it's communicating with the vehicle and ready to resume charging.
Solid red light — Internal fault, charging disabled
The Wall Connector displays a solid red light, indicating an internal issue that prevents charging.
Solid yellow LED — Wall Connector is ready to be commissioned
A solid yellow light on the Wall Connector means it is powered on and ready for the initial setup and configuration process.
Streaming green light — Charging speed reduced due to high temperature
The light bar shows a streaming green pattern, but with three red flashes indicating that charging speed has been limited because of high temperatures.
Streaming green light bar with 3 red flashes — Charging reduced due to high temperature
The Wall Connector shows a green light bar but flashes red three times, indicating that charging speed has been automatically reduced because of high temperatures.
Streaming lights, 1 flash — Reduced charging current due to high temperature in Vehicle Connector
Charging current is reduced because the vehicle connector (charge handle) has detected high temperatures. Ensure a good connection and no nearby heat sources.
Streaming lights, 2 flashes — Reduced charging current due to high temperature in wall plug or input terminals
Charging current is reduced because the wall plug or the input terminals of the Wall Connector are too hot. Ensure the plug is secure and there are no heat sources.
Streaming lights, 3 flashes — Reduced charging current due to high temperature inside the Wall Connector
Charging current is reduced because the inside of the Wall Connector is too hot. Ensure the unit has proper ventilation and no nearby heat sources.
Three red blinks — High temperature detected, charging limited or disabled
