E61 — Insufficient heating during wash cycle

What does E61 mean?

The Washing Machine is not heating water sufficiently during the wash phase, causing the heating phase to be skipped.

• A defective NTC sensor for the wash cycle.
• A faulty heating element.
• Defective wiring related to the heating system.
• A faulty main board or circuit board.
