E42 — Problems with door closure

What does E42 mean?

The Washing Machine is encountering difficulties in properly closing or sensing the closure of the door. The cycle will be paused.

• The door safety interlock mechanism is faulty.
• Defective wiring connected to the door interlock.
• A faulty main board or circuit board.
