This alarm means the economizer damper is open beyond its minimum position when it should not be, typically occurring when the unit is in occupied mode but not in a free cooling situation.
Click steps to track your progress.
Check the economizer status using the SEC pathway Status > Econ-S=. Verify the unit is in occupied mode and assess if free cooling is appropriate.
Check the economizer minimum position settings ('Details' > 'Control' > 'Econ' > 'Econ-MinPos') and compare the economizer damper position ('Details' > 'Service' > 'Inputs' > 'Sensors' > 'EconDampPos') to this setting.
Check the voltage output from the SE-ECO1001 economizer module's ECON analog output (should be 2-10 VDC). If it doesn't match the % of minimum position, disconnect the output and common plug and recheck voltage at the module pins. Check 24 VAC power to the module.
If the ECON analog output is correct, check the SE-ECO1001 feedback terminal (ECOFB). If ECOFB voltage is higher than the ECON output, check the actuator's reverse acting setting.
If the actuator is set correctly, verify it has 24 VAC power. If power is correct but feedback is improper, replace the actuator. If power is incorrect, check wiring and SE-ECO1001 24V power to the actuator. If power is correct from the module, replace the SE-ECO1001 module.
