Worx Landroid Mowing Robots

24 fault codes documented

Battery exhausted or old

Shorter run-times between charges — Battery may be exhausted or old

If the Landroid's run-time between charges is decreasing significantly, the battery may be reaching the end of its lifespan or is faulty.

Battery temperature out of range! Please wait

Display shows 'Battery temperature out of range! Please wait' — Battery is too hot or cold for charging

The battery temperature is outside the acceptable range for charging. This usually happens if the charging base is in direct sunlight on a hot day, or too cold.

Battery voltage too low! Please change battery

Display shows 'Battery voltage too low! Please change battery' — Battery is exhausted or faulty

The Landroid's battery charge is critically low and needs to be charged or replaced. The machine may not be able to complete its current task.

Blade disc unbalanced

Landroid shakes heavily — Blade disc is unbalanced

Excessive shaking or vibration during operation indicates that the blade disc is unbalanced. This can be caused by debris or damaged blades.

Blade motor fault! Press START to reset

Display shows 'Blade motor fault! Press START to reset' — Blade disc is blocked or overloaded

This error message indicates the blade disc is either blocked by an object or is working too hard due to thick grass. The motor may be struggling or stopped.

Cannot correctly dock

Landroid cannot correctly dock with charging base — Environmental influences or dirty contacts

The Landroid is having trouble aligning itself with the charging base to establish a connection for charging.

Charging base overheating

Green light on charging base turns on before charging is complete — Charging base is overheating

The charging base's internal temperature is too high, which may cause it to temporarily stop or reduce charging. The display might show a temperature warning.

Charging strip debris

Charging time is longer than expected — Debris on charging strip or poor connection

The Landroid is taking significantly longer than usual to charge. This is often due to dirt or debris preventing a good connection between the mower and the charging base.

Clock not set correctly

Landroid not operating at correct time — Clock settings are wrong

The Landroid is not following its programmed mowing schedule because the internal clock is not set to the correct time.

Clogging in blade disc

Shorter run-times between charges — Possible clogging in blade disc

The Landroid's battery is draining faster than usual, leading to shorter operating times between charges. This can be caused by increased friction from debris.

LED on charging base does not turn on

LED on charging base does not turn on — No power

The LED indicator light on the charging base is off. This means the base is not receiving power.

Mower does not charge

Mower does not charge — No power or connection issue

The Landroid is not charging when docked in its base. This could be due to a power supply problem or an issue with the charging contacts.

Mower lifted! Press START to reset

Display shows 'Mower lifted! Press START to reset' — Landroid has been raised

This message indicates that the Landroid has been lifted off the ground. Safety sensors prevent operation when the mower is not on its wheels.

Mower trapped! Press START to reset

Display shows 'Mower trapped! Press START to reset' — Landroid is stuck

The Landroid has become stuck in a position where it cannot move freely, possibly caught on an obstacle or in uneven ground.

Outside working area! Press START to reset

Display shows 'Outside working area! Press START to reset' — Landroid cannot find boundary wire signal

This message appears if the Landroid is outside its designated mowing area or cannot detect the boundary wire signal. The LED on the charging base may be red.

Programmed cutting times incorrect

Landroid not operating at correct time — Programmed cutting times are incorrect

The Landroid's mowing schedule (start and stop times) is not set correctly, causing it to miss mowing sessions or operate at the wrong times.

Red light on charging base

Red light on charging base — Boundary wire not connected

A red light on the charging base indicates a problem with the boundary wire connection. The Landroid may not be able to detect its working area.

Skidding or slipping wheels

Landroid wheels skid or repeatedly slip — Foreign obstacles or wet lawn

The Landroid's wheels are losing traction, causing them to skid or slip. This can happen if the mower is obstructed or the lawn is too wet.

Uneven cutting

Grass is being cut unevenly — Blades dull, cutting height wrong, or debris

The Landroid is not cutting the grass evenly. This can be due to dull blades, incorrect cutting height, or obstructions affecting the cut.

Upside down! Press START to reset

Display shows 'Upside down! Press START to reset' — Landroid has overturned

The Landroid has detected that it is tilted or overturned, possibly due to a slope or an obstacle. It will not operate in this position.

Vibrates

Landroid vibrates heavily — Blade disc is unbalanced or blades damaged

The Landroid is vibrating noticeably during operation. This typically means the blade disc is unbalanced, the blades are damaged, or debris is caught.

WRONG PIN! Please retry

Display shows 'WRONG PIN! Please retry' — Incorrect PIN entered

You have entered the incorrect PIN code to operate the Landroid. You will need to enter the correct code or reset it.

Wheels motor fault! Press START to reset

Display shows 'Wheels motor fault! Press START to reset' — Wheel motor is blocked

This message indicates that one or both of the Landroid's wheel motors are blocked or obstructed. The wheels cannot turn freely.

Wire missing! Press START to reset

Display shows 'Wire missing! Press START to reset' — Boundary wire signal lost

The Landroid cannot detect the boundary wire signal. This is similar to the 'Outside working area' message and requires checking the wire connections.
