The printer detects that the toner cartridge is either missing or not properly seated in its slot. The CRUM (Customer Replaceable Unit Monitor) chip on the cartridge might not be making proper contact.

Open the toner cartridge access door or cover.
Carefully remove the toner cartridge and inspect it for any damage or misalignment.
Reinsert the toner cartridge firmly into its slot until it clicks into place.
Ensure the CRUM chip on the cartridge makes proper contact with the printer's internal connector.
Close the access door and check if the message clears.
