Mitsubishi Electric · PWFY Air Conditioners
The remote controller screen remains blank, and the air conditioning unit does not power on or respond to any commands. The power indicator light also fails to illuminate.
Click steps to track your progress.
Confirm that the main power supply to the air conditioning unit is turned on and that no circuit breakers are tripped or fuses blown.
Inspect all wiring connected to the MA remote controller, checking for secure connections, short circuits, or wires that are disconnected or incorrectly routed.
Verify that the number of MA remote controllers connected to the indoor unit does not exceed the specified limit (typically 2 units).
A qualified technician should measure the voltage at the MA remote controller terminal (between pins 1 and 3); a reading of DC 9-12V suggests a possible faulty remote controller.
If no voltage is present, check the internal connectors on the circuit board and the transformer for proper seating and integrity.
If all these checks are in order and the problem persists, the indoor unit's circuit board or the MA remote controller may require professional replacement.
