1302 (High Pressure 1)

Error 1302 (High Pressure 1) – Abnormal high pressure detected repeatedly

Mitsubishi Electric · PWFY Air Conditioners

What does 1302 (High Pressure 1) mean?

The unit detects a pressure of 3.23 MPa (468 psi) or higher multiple times (three detections within 30 minutes) during operation, leading to an abnormal stop. A preliminary error code may appear on the LED for 30 minutes after each stoppage.

Common Causes

  • LEV (Liquid Electronic Valve) actuation failure
  • Pressure sensor failure
  • Controller board input circuit failure (thermistor/pressure sensor)
  • Shortage of circulating water (pump flow 0.6-2.15 m³/h)
  • Disconnected male connector on the pressure switch (63HS) or disconnected wire

Repair Steps & Checklist

Click steps to track your progress.

  1. 1

Check the circulating water supply to ensure there is no shortage and that the pump meets the required specifications.

  2. 2

Inspect the pressure sensor cable and pressure switch connector for any disconnections or physical damage.

  3. 3

Monitor the temperature and the pressure of the sensor using the LED monitor, if available.

  4. 4

If the issue persists, a technician should check the LEV operation and internal pressure sensor for faults.
