Code 81-13 VFD System Fault - PFC

What does 81-13 mean?

The Power Factor Correction (PFC) circuit in the VFD has exceeded a peak current limit while driving the compressor. The system will shut down and attempt to restart.

  • High current situation due to VFD damage.

  • Failed reactor component in the PFC circuit.
