What does 44-13 mean?

The Pressure Equalization Valve (PEV) opened to balance pressures but failed to reduce the pressure difference below 40psi within 10 minutes. This won't prevent startup but may cause other faults.

Common Causes

  • Failed PEV valve.
  • Failed PEV coil or harness.
  • Refrigeration system issues.
