The Pressure Equalization Valve (PEV) opened to balance pressures but failed to reduce the pressure difference below 40psi within 10 minutes. This won't prevent startup but may cause other faults.

If comfortable, inspect the PEV coil and harness for any visible damage or loose connections.
Reset the system by turning power off at the circuit breaker for 30 seconds and then restoring it.
If the fault persists, it strongly suggests a need for a professional to replace the PEV coil and harness, or the PEV valve itself.
