Error E021 — Pump requires more power than permitted (Motor overload)

What does E021 mean?

This error means the pump is drawing too much electrical power, which could damage the motor or electronics. The system automatically shuts off the pump to protect itself if this condition lasts for over a minute. This is not an error in the electronic module itself.

Common Causes

  • Pump is too small for the application.
  • Pumping very thick or viscous fluids.
  • Excessive flow rate in the system.
