What does FAL / --- mean?

During Service Diagnostics, the washer's display will flash between the sequence function number and 'FAL' (Fail) or '---' (cannot determine status) for 1 second. This indicates that a specific step in the diagnostic cycle did not pass or its status couldn't be verified.

  • A component associated with the displayed sequence step failed.
  • The machine control could not verify the operation of a function.
