F5E4 — Lid Not Opened Between Cycles

What does F5E4 mean?

This fault is displayed when the washer detects that the lid has not been opened after a predetermined number of consecutive cycles, or if the user attempts to start a cycle with the lid already open. It indicates an issue with lid status detection.

• User pressed START with the lid already open.
• Lid was not opened between a set number of consecutive washer cycles.
• Main control cannot detect the lid switch opening and closing properly.
