F0E5 — Off Balance Load

What does F0E5 mean?

This fault is displayed when the washer detects an off-balance condition during the spin cycle. An off-balance load can cause excessive vibration, noise, and movement of the appliance.

• Laundry items are unevenly distributed in the basket.
• Worn or weak suspension system components in the washer.

   Open the lid and redistribute the laundry evenly around the wash plate or agitator.

   Remove any very large, bulky items and consider washing them separately or with other items to help balance the load.

   Close the lid and restart the cycle, allowing the washer to attempt to balance the load again.

   Check the washer's suspension system by pushing down on the basket; it should not bounce up and down more than once.
