The grill was powered off or unplugged while it was still hot or before its complete shutdown procedure finished.

  • Shutdown procedure was interrupted while the grill was hot.

    If the grill is hot, open the lid and wait for the automatic shutdown procedure to complete and cool the grill. Do not unplug or power it off.

  2. 2

    Once cooled, power off the grill and unplug it from the power source.

  3. 3

    Remove cooking grates, FLAVORIZER bars, heat diffuser, and heat baffle.

  4. 4

    Clean the cookbox and burn pot of any ash or debris using a grill brush or scraper.

  5. 5

    Remove and clean any ash or grease from the ash and grease system drawer. Reinstall the drawer and replace disposable drip pans.

  6. 6

    Reinstall the heat baffle, heat diffuser, FLAVORIZER bars, and cooking grates inside the cookbox.
