E4 — Communication Failure (App Notification)

What does E4 mean?

The grill's controller has lost communication. This error will only be seen in the Weber Connect app. The grill will automatically run a shutdown procedure if it is hot.

• Temporary communication issue
• Power interruption to the grill

   Allow the grill to complete its shutdown procedure and cool completely. Do not unplug or power off during shutdown.

   Once cooled, power off the grill and unplug it from the power source.

   Wait one minute.

4. 4

   Plug the grill back into the power source, power on the grill, and begin your cook.
