Fault EA (Detailed 193) — Burner fault: ionization current deviation too great

What does EA mean?

The burner is in fault mode because the ionization current measured during calibration shows a significant deviation from its previous normal level. This indicates an unstable or inconsistent flame detection.

   Check the flue system and address any flue gas recirculation issues.

   If operating in open flue mode, ensure the combustion air is free from very dusty conditions.

   Press the reset button R on your boiler.

   If the fault persists after several reset attempts, the boiler coding card may need replacement, then press reset button R again.
