F-1- ˄ - Freezer sensor Error

What does F-1- ˄ mean?

A fault in the freezer sensor has been detected, indicated by a "display error". This happens if the sensor's temperature reading is outside the normal range (more than 149°F / +65°C or less than -58°F / -50°C).

Common Causes

  • Separation of sensor housing part.
  • Contact error in sensor connection.
  • Disconnection of sensor wiring.
  • Short circuit in sensor wiring.
