Error 1 / I/M-sensor — Ice maker compartment sensor issue

What does 1 mean?

This error indicates a problem with the temperature sensor for the ice maker compartment. It can be triggered by extreme temperature readings (above 122F or below -58F) or issues with the sensor's wiring.

• Electric wire cut or short-circuit in sensor wiring
• Contact failure or missing sensor housing
• Defective temperature sensor for the ice maker
