What does F-1- ˅ mean?

An error has occurred with the defrost sensor in the freezer compartment. This is a "display error" indicating problems like separation of the defrost heater housing, contact errors, disconnections, short circuits, or a temperature fuse error.

   Unplug the Refrigerator from the power outlet.

   Open the freezer compartment door and visually inspect for any obvious signs of ice buildup that might indicate a defrost issue.

   Wait 1-2 minutes, then plug the Refrigerator back in to reset the system.
