Error 15 / F-sensor — Freezer compartment sensor issue

What does 15 mean?

This error indicates a problem with the main temperature sensor in the freezer (F compartment). Causes include wiring issues or the sensor detecting extreme temperatures outside the normal operating range (above 122F or below -58F).

• Electric wire cut or short-circuit in sensor wiring
• Contact failure or missing sensor housing
• Defective temperature sensor in the freezer compartment
• sensor detection temperature not lower than 122F or higher than -58F
