Error 14 / EXT-sensor — External ambient temperature sensor issue

What does 14 mean?

This error indicates a problem with the external ambient temperature sensor, which monitors the temperature around the Refrigerator. Causes include wiring issues or the sensor detecting extreme temperatures outside the normal operating range (above 122F or below -58F).

• Electric wire cut or short-circuit in sensor wiring
• Contact failure or missing sensor housing
• Defective external ambient temperature sensor
