What does F40 -01 mean?

The temperature sensor at the outlet of the indoor unit is faulty. It might be shorted or broken, affecting temperature readings.

• The outlet temperature sensor is damaged.
• Loose connection of the sensor wiring.
• The sensor has become disconnected.
