What does E6 / 1 Red Flash mean?

The remote control displays E6, and the indoor unit's red LED flashes once (while the green LED keeps flashing). This indicates an issue with the indoor heat exchanger temperature sensor.

• A defective temperature sensor (element, broken wire, short-circuit)
• Poor contact of the sensor connector
• Defective indoor unit control PCB
