E39 - Discharge pipe temperature sensor anomaly

What does E39 mean?

The remote control displays E39 (while the indoor unit's green LED keeps flashing and red LED stays off). This indicates a problem with the discharge pipe temperature sensor.

• A defective discharge pipe temperature sensor (broken wire or poor connector connection)
• A defective outdoor unit control PCB
