E37 - Outdoor heat exchanger temperature sensor anomaly

What does E37 mean?

The remote control displays E37 (while the indoor unit's green LED keeps flashing and red LED stays off). This indicates a problem with the outdoor heat exchanger temperature sensor.

Common Causes

  • A defective outdoor heat exchanger temperature sensor (broken wire or poor connector connection)
  • A defective outdoor unit control PCB
