What does Strange Air Smell mean?

The air blowing out of the indoor unit has an unusual or unpleasant odor.

• Dirty air filters within the indoor unit.
• Dirty fan or heat exchanger inside the indoor unit.
• The unit may be sucking in odors adhering to the walls, carpet, furniture, or cloth in the room and circulating them.
