What does Remote not received mean?

The air conditioner does not respond to commands from the remote control, especially when electronic ON/OFF type fluorescent lamps (inverter-type) are used in the room.

Common Causes

  • Electromagnetic interference from inverter-type fluorescent lamps
  • Obstruction between the remote control and the indoor unit
  • Low batteries in the remote control
