Outdoor LED Lit

Outdoor Control P.C. Board LED Solid Lit - Abnormal Communication or Not Connected

Mitsubishi Electric · MSZ-AP Air Conditioners

What does Outdoor LED Lit mean?

A solid lit LED on the outdoor control P.C. board indicates that communication between the indoor and outdoor units is abnormal or not connected. This can prevent the air conditioning system from operating correctly.

Common Causes

  • Miswiring of the indoor/outdoor connecting wire.
  • Poor contact or wire disconnection in the indoor/outdoor connecting wire.
  • Damage to the indoor/outdoor connecting wire.
  • Faulty indoor electronic control P.C. board or outdoor control P.C. board.

Repair Steps & Checklist

Click steps to track your progress.

  1. 1

Turn OFF the main power supply to the air conditioner.

  2. 2

Carefully check the indoor/outdoor connecting wires for any miswiring, loose connections, or visible damage. Ensure all connections are secure.

  3. 3

If other inverter-controlled lighting equipment is nearby, try turning it OFF to rule out interference.

  4. 4

Turn the main power supply back ON.

  5. 5

If the LED remains solid lit and the issue persists, contact a qualified service technician for further diagnosis.
