Display   — SoftSteam option not completed

What does   mean?

The display shows  and  alternating. This indicates that the SoftSteam extra option, which aims to reduce creasing at the end of the program, could not be carried out properly. The Washing Machine can still be used, but without this specific option.

• The SoftSteam extra option could not be carried out properly
• The Washing Machine is not aligned correctly
• The maximum drain delivery height of 1 meter has been exceeded

   Check that the Washing Machine is aligned correctly and level (refer to 'Installation – Levelling the machine' section).

   Verify that the drain hose maximum delivery height of 1 meter has not been exceeded.

   If the message reappears, contact Miele Service for further assistance, especially if you wish to use the SoftSteam option.
