What does Drum light not on mean?

The drum lighting automatically switches off when the door is closed or after a few minutes if the door is open, to save energy. It should come on when the dryer is switched on and the door is opened.

• Door is closed
• Door has been open for several minutes (energy saving)
• Dryer is switched off
