Error 12 — Discharge temperature sensor failure

What does 12 mean?

There is an electrical failure with the sensor that measures the compressor hot gas discharge line temperature. This sensor is connected to the PCB.

• Sensor short circuit
• Sensor open circuit
• Loose sensor connection
• Defective sensor

   Inspect the sensor wiring for damage.

   Use an ohmmeter to test the sensor's resistance against the temperature resistance table.
