Alert Code 433 — Compressor over-current

What does 433 mean?

The compressor is drawing too much electrical current. The system will stop the compressor and fan. If this condition happens multiple times within an hour, the system will lock out.

Common Causes

  • Compressor phase current is too high
  • Inverter issue
  • Outdoor control issue
