E3 - Meat Probe Connector Jack or Meat Probe Shorted

What does E3 mean?

This error indicates an electrical issue with the meat probe or its connector. It suggests that the probe itself or the jack where it connects has an electrical short, which can prevent accurate temperature readings.

• Meat probe connector jack is shorted.
• Meat probe itself is shorted or faulty.
• Faulty Copernicus Appliance Manager.

   Turn off the oven power at the circuit breaker, wait 10 seconds, then turn it back on.

   Remove the meat probe if it is currently connected to the oven.

   Enter Diagnostics mode by pressing CANCEL>CANCEL>START, then press the 3 or 6 keypad to scroll to the Faults screen and verify the E3 error code.

   If the error persists or reappears after removing the probe and cycling power, try replacing the meat probe with a new one.

   Clear the error codes from the Diagnostics Menu by pressing CLOCK/TOOLS, then START, if the issue is resolved.
