Clean machine

'Clean machine' displayed — Machine requires cleaning

The E8 is prompting you to perform a cleaning cycle. Regular cleaning is essential for maintaining optimal coffee quality and the longevity of your machine.

Coffee in drips

Coffee only comes out in drips — Coffee is ground too finely or water hardness is incorrect

If coffee only comes out in drips, it often means the coffee is ground too finely, obstructing the system, or there might be an issue with limescale due to incorrect water hardness settings.

Decalcify machine

'Decalcify machine' displayed — Machine requires descaling

The E8 is prompting you to descale it. Descaling removes limescale deposits that can build up over time, which can affect the machine's performance and the taste of your coffee.

The coffee grinder is producing an unusually loud noise during operation. This often indicates that foreign objects have entered the grinder mechanism.

Other ERROR messages

Other 'ERROR' messages displayed — Unspecified machine fault

If any 'ERROR' message other than 'ERROR 2' or 'ERROR 5' is displayed, it indicates an internal machine fault that requires further investigation.
