F04 - Water level sensor stuck on empty

What does F04 mean?

This error means the pressure switch, which detects the water level, is reporting that the tub is empty, even if there might be water present, or there's a fault with the switch itself.

Common Causes

  • Faulty pressure switch
  • Blocked air trap or hose leading to the pressure switch
  • Loose electrical connections to the switch

    Switch off the machine and unplug it from the wall.

    Check if there's any visible water in the drum. If so, select a 'PUMP OUT' program on the dial to drain the water (if available).

  3. 3

    Wait for 30 seconds, then plug the machine back in and try to start a new program.

  4. 4

    If the issue persists, contact service for a check of the pressure switch and its connections.
