Alarm 57 — No water or too much air at pump inlet

What does 57 mean?

There is insufficient water at the pump inlet or too much air mixed with the water, causing the pump to run dry. This fault does not reset automatically.

Common Causes

  • No water supply to the pump.
  • Closed or partially closed inlet valve.
  • Air trapped in the system.
  • Low system pressure preventing proper water flow.

    Ensure the system has adequate water and that the inlet valve to the pump is fully open.

    Prime and vent the pump thoroughly to remove any trapped air before attempting to restart.
