What does E2 mean?

The pump is detecting that the electrical voltage being supplied to it is too low. This can prevent the pump from starting or operating correctly.

  • Issues with the electrical circuit supplying power.
  • Voltage fluctuations or sags in your electrical system.
  • Overloaded electrical circuit.

Repair Steps & Checklist

Click steps to track your progress.

  1. 1

Check that the pump's power cable is securely plugged into its outlet or terminal block.

  2. 2

Verify that the circuit breaker for the pump's circuit has not tripped; reset it if necessary.

  3. 3

Ensure no other high-power appliances are causing a voltage drop on the same circuit.

  4. 4

If the problem persists, an electrician should check the incoming voltage at the pump's connection.
