P6 - Master control and driver communication error

What does P6 mean?

Communication between the master control board and the driver board has been interrupted for 30 seconds. This fault will cause the system to shut down for protection. The ODU main board LED will display this error.

Common Causes

  • Communication wire between master control and driver is not well connected, or has bad contact, or is broken
  • The switch power of drive board is abnormal, causing abnormal 3.3V power voltage
  • Communication circuit of the drive board or the master control board is abnormal

    Check the communication wire between the master control and driver for proper connection. Reconnect or replace the wire if it's loose, badly connected, or broken.

    Verify the 3.3V power voltage from the drive board's switch power supply.

  3. 3

    Replace the drive board if its communication circuit is abnormal.

  4. 4

    Replace the master control board if its communication circuit is abnormal.
