What does 23 mean?

The Inverter Power Module (IPM) has experienced an thermal overload. This is usually due to overcharge, a plugged coil, or a sensor issue.

Common Causes

  • Overcharge of refrigerant
  • Excessively plugged outdoor coil
  • IPM temperature sensor open or shorted
  • Non-condensable in the system
