Error 12 — Wired Remote Controller Communication Error

What does 12 mean?

This error occurs when the indoor unit cannot properly receive the signal from the wired remote controller for 1 minute or more. The outdoor unit shows no indication.

• Connection failure between the wired remote controller and the indoor unit
• Wired Remote Controller failure
• Indoor unit Controller PCB failure
• Incorrect RCgroup setting or wiring

   Turn off the power to the unit, then check the connection of the terminal between the wired remote controller and the indoor unit. Ensure there is no cable disconnection.

   Verify the wire installation, including RCgroup settings and connections, referring to the installation manual if necessary.
