F4 (8 flashes) — Overheat Protection for Discharge Temperature

¿Qué significa F4 (8 flashes) ?

This protection activates when the compressor discharge temperature exceeds 110°C. It can be caused by refrigerant issues, faulty sensors, or electronic expansion valve problems.

• Electronic expansion valve defective
• Faulty thermistor (discharge sensor)
• Faulty PCB
• Refrigerant leak

   Turn off the power, then restart the air conditioner.

   Measure the temperature at the compressor's exhaust sensor after startup.

   If the temperature exceeds 110°C shortly after startup, suspect a refrigerant leak or high system load.

   If malfunctions occur after running, but the measured temperature is below 110°C, the discharge sensor may be faulty and need replacement.
