What does Drain pipe symbol with exclamation mark mean?

The display shows a drain pipe symbol with an exclamation mark, indicating that the appliance is unable to drain water. The Start/Pause button may also flash continuously.

• Drain filter blocked
• Drain hose kinked or twisted
• Drain pump malfunction
• Standpipe or sink drain blocked

   Check that the drain hose is not kinked, twisted, or blocked.

   Clean the drain filter and inspect the drain pump (refer to 'Cleaning the drain filter' and 'Emergency drain' sections).

   Perform an emergency drain procedure to empty the water.

   After cleaning and draining, activate the drain system again by pouring 2 litres of water into the main wash compartment and starting a drain program.

5. 5

   Deactivate and reactivate the appliance to clear the fault.
