What does Door will not open mean?

The appliance door cannot be opened, even after the programme should have finished or been paused. This is often a safety measure due to water in the drum or the machine still being active.

• The wash programme is still running.
• There is water remaining in the drum.
• The door lock indicator is still on, meaning the water level is too high or the drum is turning.
• A failure of the appliance is preventing the door from unlocking.

   Wait until the end of the programme cycle and ensure the door lock indicator turns off.

   If there is water in the drum, drain the water by selecting a drain or spin programme.

   If the door lock indicator does not disappear, you must drain the water to open the door.
