Error 5X - Inductor temperature sensor break (specific zone)

Electrolux · Induction Range

What does 51, 52, 54, 55 mean?

These codes indicate a break in the temperature sensor for a specific inductor coil: 51 (Left Front), 52 (Left Rear), 54 (Right Rear), or 55 (Right Front). This can be due to a faulty sensor or its connection.

Common Causes

  • Incorrectly connected element temperature sensor
  • Defective inductor (temperature sensor resistor value is incorrect, not approx. 1000 ohms)
  • Defective associated Generator Circuit Board

Repair Steps & Checklist

Click steps to track your progress.

  1. 1

Verify the element temperature sensor is correctly connected to the appropriate Induction Housing Assembly connector (refer to wiring diagram if available).

  2. 2

Test the inductor temperature sensor resistance (blue wires) at room temperature; it should be approximately 1000 ohms. Replace the inductor if the value is incorrect.

  3. 3

If the sensor and connections are good, replace the associated Generator Circuit Board for the affected zone.
