No operation

Appliance not operating — No power or internal fault

Electrolux · Hobs

What does No operation mean?

The hob does not turn on or operate at all. This can stem from a lack of voltage, a defect in a power board, or an issue with the interface or wiring.

Common Causes

  • Lack of voltage supply (e.g., L2 wire without voltage).
  • Tripped circuit breaker or blown fuse.
  • Defective power board (e.g., right power board).
  • Defective user interface or internal 5V power supply.
  • Bus wiring has contact to ground.

Repair Steps & Checklist

Click steps to track your progress.

  1. 1

Check the main power supply to the hob at the circuit breaker and ensure it is switched on.

  2. 2

Verify fuses related to the hob installation are not tripped or blown.

  3. 3

Turn off the main power, wait 30 seconds, then restore power to attempt a reset.

  4. 4

If the appliance still does not operate, an internal component (power board, interface, or wiring) may be defective, requiring professional service.

  5. 5
