E8 — Communication or connection failure

What does E8 mean?

The E8 error signals a connection failure between the left and right induction modules and the user interface. This could also indicate an internal issue with the user interface itself, or problems with specific module power. The error might appear on left zones or all zones.

• Mains connection/supply issue to the hob.
• Cable harness or bus wiring between modules and interface is faulty or loose.
• Internal failure of the user interface.
• Mains voltage on the left module is not available (black cable).
• Bus wiring to the interface is not connected or is defective.
• Left module is defective.

   Turn off the hob at the main power supply (circuit breaker).

   Wait at least 30 seconds, then restore power. This can reset minor communication glitches.

   Ensure the appliance is properly installed and connected to the mains power supply, checking any visible wiring if safe to do so.
