E4 — Over temperature detected or sensor defect at cooking zone

What does E4 mean?

The E4 error indicates that a temperature sensor in one of the cooking coils has detected an excessively high temperature, or that the sensor itself is defective. This could be due to prolonged use, or a fault in the sensor or coil.

Common Causes

  • Cooking zone has overheated due to extended use or insufficient ventilation.
  • Temperature sensor coil (e.g., front left, rear left, front right, rear right) is defective.
