Suction Pressure Sensor Fault 57

What does 57 mean?

A fault has been detected with the suction pressure sensor. This could be caused by a disconnected harness, broken wire, an electrical short, or heat damage during brazing. The system will reset after 15 minutes.

  • Sensor Harness not connected to ODU control
  • Broken or loose harness wire
  • Electrical short destroyed Transducer electronics
  • Heat damage during brazing

    Ensure the sensor harness plug is securely connected to the ODU control board.

    Check the harness for continuity to detect any broken or loose wires.

    Compare the transducer reading with a gauge reading taken at the service valve.

    Check the system for electrical shorts and correct them; replace the transducer if damaged.

  5. 5

    If heat damage from brazing is suspected as the cause, replace the transducer.
